It’s good to talk? A panel led discussion on the Scottish Government’s proposed Conversion Practices Bill.
Thu 7th Mar 2024 6:45 pm – 8.45 pm
Renfield Training and Conference Centre, G2 4JP
Speakers for this event are Dr John Higgon, a recently retired clinical neuropsychologist who became concerned about the medicalisation of what he believes may be expressions of underlying psychological issues. He is worried about the lack of robust evidence in the new cohort of teenagers and the way in which affirmative care may steer vulnerable young people to transition.
Our other speaker is an experienced GP, author and academic working in Scotland.
Arrive 6.45pm for a prompt 7pm start. Tea and coffee available.
