LWD are delighted to be hosting a fringe event and stall at National Women’s Conference in Liverpool on Saturday 26th September 2026.

Our fringe event will be held in association with our sister group Lesbian Labour – Invisible Women: Lesbians and Destransitioners 

Join us to hear how lesbian rights clinched the FWS Supreme Court ruling, why “Gay Teens Aren’t Sick”, and the evidence from detransitioners which drives our campaigns against the Conversion Practices Ban Bill and the puberty blocker trial.

All conference visitors are welcome to call in for conversations at our stall outside Arena Room Sherwood at any point during Women’s Conference.

National Women’s Committee Elections

We are supporting our two National Women’s Committee candidates Lynne Troughton and Cllr Miriam Rice. Please make sure that your constituency’s Women’s Conference delegates are going to vote for these candidates at conference. CLP delegates have 6 votes and we also recommend voting for feminists Ann Henderson and Emine Ibrahim. Voting may start early on the day of conference – delegates will receive information about how to vote in due course.
