LWD are excited to be back at Labour Party National Conference 2026. We’re hosting a fringe event and a stall – if you’re attending, do come along and say hello!
We will be holding our seventh consecutive National Conference fringe meeting – Materialist Feminism and the Left: Is identity Politics Over?
Identity politics has fragmented socialist solidarity, alienated our traditional voters and diminished women’s faith in Labour. Join us to discuss why a return to common-sense thinking on sex and gender is essential to tackling the challenges facing women today.
Speakers:
Sonia Sodha, Journalist, Tracy Gilbert MP, Joani Reid MP, Chair: Tonia Antoniazzi MP
When and Where:
Sunday 27th September 2026
11:00am – 12:30pm (arrival 10:45am, tea, coffee and pastries)
Arena Room Wye, Lower Ground Level, ACC
Open to all Labour Conference attendees

Conference Stand K6 in Exhibition Hall: Creating Space for Debate in Labour
